Outdoor In

Cutting Dog Wood branches and bringing them inside at Christmas is a wonderful way to bring the outdoors in. It fills up space and helps give you that warm, cozy feeling over the holidays. If you want to add a little more to it all, why not add some decortations. A wonderful way to decorate in a small space

Getting ready for Christmas

Today is for baking. My 6 year old and I are working hard in the kitchen baking for the holidays. He is so excited! (me too I'll admit)

I have some exciting new ideas coming up soon. Just waiting for the wood to dry out. I'll have some pictures soon.

Happy baking everyone

Easy Double Sided Napkins

A really easy way to make a hostess gift, teachers gift, or something for yourself. One side all the materials are the same colour. This allows you to set the table the same if you wish. On the other side, the materials are a different colour. This can allow you to have each persons seating different.

Adding your napkins to a mason jar at your table adds some character

Set of 4 sells for $20 Can

The Starting Point

Everyone needs a starting point and here's mine. This blog are things that interest me and to help my creative side, alive.
My background is of Interior Design that I graduated from in 2000. I went into the Kitchen Design field where I designed kitchens for 7 years.

I love bringing the old world into the 'new' world and getting creative with things.
I hope you enjoy what I have done and my new ideas of what I'll do next.
